Unique Opportunity for High End Cosmetic Dermatology group located ON GRAMERCY PARK. This is an UNPAID internship, and minimum hours per week is 15. Minimum commitment, 3 months.
Description
You will be responsible for multiple aspects of our Creative Efforts. You will be exposed to the following: brand standards, typography, advertising campaigns, formatting of patient and office forms, and guerrilla marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Collateral Materials- Assist in developing graphic design, written and website-based promotional materials/copy and visuals for web-based activities, design and general maintenance and trafficking of collateral, office documents, etc.
• Creative Techniques- Assist in the develop and implementation of specific approaches to marketing the medical group and special events with an emphasis on generating new patients and website development. You will also be responsible to put together press kits, fact checking, running errands, formatting in-house POS Display ads, scanning articles for the press book, administrative duties - printing, filing, formatting of documents, research, updating website, participate in strategic and creative development meetings, offering input and providing written recaps to all respective parties.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
• IDEALLY, YOU WIL BE A STUDENT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY AND GET CREDIT FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE.
• Strong Design/Graphic Design and Written Communication Skills
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Basic Desktop Publishing and Website Management skills (i.e.: Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Indesign/Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) , and bring recommendations to the management group of best programs to use, etc.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving mentality.
• Willingness to provide public presentations in a variety of settings
• Desire to work in Graphic Design/ Marketing/Promotions/Communications after college,
• ALL INTERESTED CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE DESIGN SAMPLES FOR CONSIDERATION.
Work Environment
It`s a fun medical office, with young-minded and innovative management. But we are fast paced and looking for a STAR Intern to help us move foward. In return, you will leave with many examples of quality work you can take with you throughout your career.
Lunch is provided one day a week, and occasional Starbucks runs paid by the office. Dress is Business Appropriate. Professionalism is a MUST.
